This was the original TSOS vehicle. It was made by Rick & Chris during the summer of 2000. It only made it to two competitions but took 1st in both. The high of the car was a 151.0 at the IASCA show on Ft. Drum. In hindsight we know now that the enclosure was tuned too low for high SPL. One a side note, 151.0 at 43 Hz is quite the experience.

 

The car was completely gutted. When this was done we realized the floor boards had horrible rust damage. This brought on the idea of the 320 pounds of concrete.

 

For equipment we had a Tiff battery up front with an Optima Yellow Top in the back. For amps we used 2 US Amps USA 300x's which were rated at 1000 RMS @ 4 ohms. For the subs they were the Kove Armageddon 15" X series. They were a single 4 ohm coil. We went through a few of those baby's before we finally settled down:) The deck was an Eclipse 5303R with a 5v output. Very nice deck.   

 

Unfortunately after the 2000 season Rick moved to Georgia and nobody wanted the car, so it was sold to EISS Brothers for scrap metal never to see the competition again.
